The system is intended for use as roof waterproofing on new and existing flat and pitched roofs with limited access.

Surface Temperature Application


The system must be applied when the air and substrate temperature are greater than 5°C. The advice of the Certificate holder should be sought where air temperatures exceed 35°C.

Durability


25 Years 

White-Knight will achieve an initial life expectancy of at least 25 years when used under protection or in non-accessible areas. White-Knight Top Coat may require re-application after 10 years.

Installation Requirements


Practicability of installation was assessed by the BBA on the basis of Certificate holder’s information. To achieve the performance described in this Certificate, the system must only be installed by contractors who have been trained and approved by the Certificate holder.

Fire Safety


When tested to DD CEN/TS 1187 : 2012, Test 4, and classified in accordance with BS EN 13501-5 : 2016, a system comprising an 8 mm fibre cement board, a base coat of White-Knight and a top coat of White-Knight Top Coat reinforced with geotextile (134 g·m 2), achieved a classification of BROOF(t4).
