The system is intended for use as a waterproofing layer on new or existing flat and pitched roofs with limited access.

Surface Temperature Application

The system must be applied when the air and substrate temperature are greater than 5°C. The advice of the
Certificate holder should be sought where air temperatures exceed 35°C.

Durability

25 Years 

Under normal service conditions, the system will have a service life of at least 25 years provided it is designed, installed and maintained in accordance with this Certificate and the Certificate holder’s instructions.

Where the system is used in a fully protected specification and is subjected to normal service conditions, it will provide an effective barrier to the transmission of liquid water and water vapour for the design life of the roof in which it is incorporated, provided it is designed, installed and maintained in accordance with this Certificate and the Certificate holder’s instructions

Installation Requirements

Practicability of installation was assessed by the BBA on the basis of Certificate holder’s information. To achieve the performance described in this Certificate, the system must only be installed by contractors who have been trained and approved by the Certificate holder.

Fire Safety

Data were assessed for the following characteristics:
When tested to CEN/TS 1187 : 2012 : Test 4 and classified in accordance with BS EN 13501-5 : 2016,
a system comprising a 8 mm fibre cement board, a base coat of Hyperdesmo and a top coat of
Hyperdesmo reinforced with geotextile (134 g/m2), achieved a classification of BROOF(t4).
